If you have knee pain, make sure you have adequate flexibility all througout your legs. As Kelly Starett says, "Create some slack."
Are your calves tight? Quads? Hamstring? Stretch that stuff out. A good way to stretch it out is to roll it out with a foam roller.
Same thing with shoulders. Gotta losen that up.
I know you hate stretching. Its boring. Who cares. It's easy. Do at least 2x a day.
