Monday, March 31 - Fight Gone Bad

On monday we'll be hitting some fight gone bad.  This is one of my favorites and have a long term goal of 350. 

Here's a video from crossfit explaining more about the workout.  It is a cardio beast!

I love watching MMA, but I don't think I'd like to get into a ring with any of them.  I would, however, like to achieve their level of cardio-respiratory endurance. 
3/8/08 - my score = 271.  Just short of my PR of 275 but not too bad.  Rounds were 103,85,83.  Felt really strong on my box jumps, weakest link was the wallballs, although my rows were coming up with only 13-15 calories per round.  Painful workout.  Oh, and on my third round of push-press, on one of the last reps I pushed the darn bar straight into my chin and I think I felt some tiny chips of teeth in my mouth.  Ouch!  Won't make that mistake again (hopefully)

Don't try Eugene Crossfit if you want to keep the drudgery in your workouts. There are plenty of workout plans that deliver little results, are boring, and don't really have a goal in mind.

Crossfit is very bothersome for people who like workouts like these.
